Kia continues to develop the serial version of Kia GT

Automobile company Kia continues to produce and develop the Kia GT Coupe and Roadster. According to the motoring magazine Auto Express, Kia GT production version will be available in early 2016. Recall, the concept car was officially unveiled during the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011. The car is equipped with rear-wheel drive system, however, most likely, the novelty will also be offered in front-wheel version. It is noteworthy that the vehicle boasts quite a long wheelbase – 3045 mm.

Soon-Nam Lee, who is the vice-president and a head of the department for foreign marketing, said that the Kia GT is the first car to be built according to a new global strategy. Until the end of 2017, according to the vice – president, the concern will release several new models and versions of cars. In addition, the company is preparing to showcase its new roadster. It will happen during the Detroit Motor Show, which kicks off in January 2014. However, at the moment it is not known exactly when the new product goes on sale.

Despite a significant increase in sports models , the company has no plans Kia regarding participation in road racing. Recall, Hyundai, which is a subsidiary of Kia, is also going to launch a sports sedan Hyundai Genesis, which will be sold in the UK. This car will be unveiled in 2014 in Detroit.
