KIA presents a new generation of electric bikes K-led

KIA K-velo – it’s environmentally friendly vehicles, “hybrid” bicycle pedal and electric drive, available in two versions – City (City) and mountain (MTB). In both cases, K-velo can demonstrate excellent dynamics thanks to its powerful motor. K-velo contains a number of innovative technical solutions.
The innovative system provides electric range of up to 70 km.

Prototype K-velo has rear-wheel drive and can be moved by an electric power production Bosch. At the heart of “power plant” is a motor power of 250 watts, which creates a torque of 45 Nm. Power is supplied by a lithium-ion polymer battery 36V having energy supply 10 amps / hour.

City version of the City can be conveniently used for regular trips due to a power reserve of up to 70 km. Compared with the prototype electric bikes that KIA presented in 2014, range increased by 30 kilometers. “Mining” version of MTV, is designed for use in harsh off-road conditions, it offers a power reserve of 50 km. The battery is made easily removable for maximum facilitation charge. The process is fully charged from a conventional household electrical outlet takes about 4 hours.
