KIA unveiled at the New York Auto Show New Soul

On the 113th New York International Auto Show hosted the World premiere of the cult car of KIA Motors – new Soul. Made on the basis of the concept Track’ster, new Soul is going to maintain the leadership in the compact city cars. New model became more spacious, has an even greater premium features and striking design, the new Soul has become even more interesting, and more functional than ever.

On a new chassis that has become harder, longer and wider, the new Soul has “grown” without losing its individuality. Increase in torque and a significant suspension upgrades make a new Soul agile and nimble companion in congested urban areas.

Save the individuality of the predecessor of Soul and bring together innovation was not an easy task. From the very beginning, when the design team in the California studio of KIA just brought a virtual pen to virtual paper, the idea was to make driving the new Soul of a great joy. New Soul is powered by two engines: 1.6 (96 kVt/130 hp) and a more powerful 2.0 (121 hp kVt/164). Both engines are configured to provide a high torque already from 1500 rpm for more comfortable ride around the city.
